  • What to Expect

    WEEKEND GATHERINGS

    Our gatherings are casual and are made up of Bible-based teaching with blended band-driven worship, all in a relaxed, welcoming environment.

    WORSHIP

    We worship God every week, singing together and making a joyful noise to Jesus our Savior. We also worship God through giving financially back to Him and the mission He has called us to, as well as partaking in communion together as a church body.

    Worship helps prepare us to hear the truth of the word of God and is a tangible way for us to declare His worth in our lives.

    TEACHING

    Because the word of God is truth, it is the foundation on which we build our lives. At every gathering, we will teach from the Bible and determine ways in which we can apply its timeless truths to our lives.

    CHILDREN ARE OF UTMOST IMPORTANCE TO US HERE AT WALTER HILL

    It’s the desire of our staff and exceptional volunteers to partner with parents to teach children how Jesus Christ is the hero of the entire story of the Bible. We believe that making disciples starts at home, so we want to walk alongside parents and families to help equip them to lead their children well.

    WHEN YOU VISIT

    We engage kids with the good news of Jesus through child-specific programming. When you arrive at our campus, a member of our host team will direct you to our Kids’ check-in station. Once there, our friendly check-in staff will help you register your child and assign you a security number that is unique to your family. Our host will then accompany you and your child to their age-appropriate group. While you are worshipping, your child will be in a safe, secure, and nurturing environment. After the service, you will return to where your child was dropped off and present your security number to our volunteers.

    If for any reason we need to contact you during the service, you will receive a text or call on your mobile phone. Simply leave the service and return to where your child was dropped off.

    INFANTS & PRESCHOOL

    Our kids learn about Jesus in a safe and nurturing environment through Bible stories, crafts, snacks, and games.

    ELEMENTARY

    Kids in kindergarten through 5th grade experience the excitement of a high-energy large group environment with worship, Bible teaching, and games. They also connect with their peers in age-appropriate small groups designed to draw them closer to God.
